We have several delicious (if I do say so myself) quilts going out to magazines right about now...This one's going to Jill Meade over at Quilts & More...it is due out sometime this summer...(Will keep you posted.)
This one is a lap size...I hope that you will be pleasantly surprised when you see the article, as you can't quite make out the overall effect from this little snapshot, or can you? The ric rac is fabulous new color made especially to coordinate with our new Teatime Floral fabrics (and this quilt in particular) by my buddy Adam over at cheeptrims.com Our "fabric mistress" Mrs. Winslow devised a great way to apply the ric rac without any muss or fuss! (Hint: fusible thread, more later!)
I've got more pics to of another magazine quilt that has just been sent out, but I have to find them first...I've taken so many pictures lately that I am having a difficult time keeping them all straight...
Back in two shakes...H2

Rick rack....great idea. I've never used it before on a quilt. But, now I may give it a try thanks to the picture you took of your quilt. Interesting results...I love it!

Hi,
I have been looking all over Utah for the Pink cupcake or the black cupcake print.
My daughter is having a wedding in July and wants aprons for all her friends...since we are serving 100's of cupcakes. I have asked at the various quilt and fabric stores and they say they don't know anything about getting more. Where can I go on-line to order some direct? Thanks for your help.

Today I picked up a copy of Better Homes & Gardens american patchwork & Quilting (Feb. 2010 issue), and fell in love with the Sweet Tea quilt on page 82. I want to make a queen size quilt of my own design with the teacup fabric. Please tell me where I might find this gorgeous fabric. Can I order it from you?

your best bet is to google LakeHouse fabrics...99% of our customers ordered the Teatime Floral Two fabrics
also the people doing the kitting can probably send you a modified amount of fabric to make a larger quilt...just look in your magazine
hope this helps,
H2
