Here's a picture of Pam Kitty, McCall's Quilting's Beth Hayes & me (looking dazed & bloated--LOL) at Quilt Market this year, taken by Laura Roberts (also from McCall's -- thanks Laura!)...
Is it just me, or does Pam look like her feline alter ego?
A little bird told me that PKM is on her little quilt retreat, so it looks like she hasn't totally scooped me on photos from the booth (yet)...
Many Thanks to Nadine Woodraska for loaning us all sorts of cute things from her shop in South Jordan Utah...The Material Girls...We love you Nadine!
We had lots of giveaways at the booth. Pam made up the cutest little fabric strawberries...with a pattern on a recipe card, called Strawberry Delight. She also made up a free pattern for the circle pot holder...(hint: with googly eyes that pot holder turns into a hand puppet!) We also gave away lots of little jars of Pam Kitty Jam, and Pam Kitty Candy (cinnamon hearts)...And of course Ric Rac was from our buddy Adam at CheepTrims.com (Oh, and can you tell that these pictures were taken b4 the show actually opened...that's the boxes from our tables & benches in the background ;o(
That's one of Nadine's antique child's sewing machines from her collection on the top shelf. On the tabletop is the New Pam Kitty Morning sales booklet, and more of that delicious Pam Kitty Jam.
Here's a picture of the large Jars of Pam Kitty Jam we had on display...
Wouldn't you know that the crack security team at the SLC airport confiscated the Pam Kitty Jam that was in my carry on (on my way home)...Wondering who gets the spoils from all they confiscate...The man who checked my bag was rather chubby. I'm just saying...
Oh, and if you are wondering where the playful pink dotted fabric on the table top & strawberries came from, it's the Annie's Farm Stand fabrics we introduced last fall, that are just hitting Independent quilt shops near you right now! (Most of you know by now, that we really try to make our fabrics play well with others, so have fun mixing & matching the new "Annie's" fabrics with the "Pammie's" when they arrive in October '11...
The LakeHouse fabric for quilts motto:
"Matchy Matchy": No! "So Happy Together": Yes!
More pictures from SLC coming soon...so y'all come back now...

They took the Pam Kitty Jam? I knew I should have taken one when Pam offered it...at least one more jar would have gone to a good home!

Hello Holly Holderman.
Your fabric is the BEST! (and Shabby Fabrics is one of my favorite vendors because they carry so much of your fabric) I particularly like the Teatime Floral II line. I would like to direct you to an especially lovely -no, make that astounding-- use of your fabric (disclaimer: I have absolutely nothing to do with this, just saw it and admired the beautiful design and incredible craftsmanship, and your fabric played a key role). This note to you is actually not meant to be a public comment; there is just no other apparent way to contact you. So, if possible, please don't actually post this.
To see this lovely work (it's actually a work in progress; a quilt titled "Nature's Notebook", being designed a block at a time using your fabric as the background) go to http://sandraleichner.com/wordpress/
There you will see one of the three blocks already made (all three blocks are on Sandra's blog, but you'll need to go back through the blog to see the others). Sandra has been making the patterns available, and in doing so she has created quite a demand for your now unavailable "Antique Calligraphy" in taupe.
I confess here to an ulterior motive: I am hoping that you will consider reprinting that particular fabric (which Sandra used as background fabric). So many of us would like to purchase it, as it is the PERFECT fabric for this quilt (and sadly, there is no longer any to be found).
If you ever consider adding fabric designers to your group, you might do well to consider Sandra Leichner !! (Another disclaimer: I do not personally know Sandra, but I admire her work immensely). Her style and your fabrics go hand in glove. Thank you for taking the time to read my lengthy plea (for a reprinting of your "Antique Calligraphy" --what a sublimely lovely fabric).
Most Cordially,
