Day 13 of 13 A Dazzling Dozen Delicious Desserts -- Part One
While we're renovating, what passes for a kitchen at the Boulders (aka Casa God Awful) is in the basement. This gives the cats, Kammie especially, a bird's eye view of what's cooking!
She knew we were due to make our entry for the Dazzling Dozen Delicious Desserts, so Kammie wore her new Cherry Baby bib to celebrate the occasion...(thanks Auntie Megan!)
Here's the little hoover herself, waiting patiently for good fortune to shine on her...
Pink is her favorite color...
Who wants to lick the beaters?
Hey wait a minute, this is my party...and besides I was here first & mom loves me best!
Lickety-Split.
And they licked...
And they licked...
And the party's only just begun!
Please join us again tomorrow morning for part two of the last of our Baker's Dozen of Dazzling Delicious Desserts!
Oh, and in case you are wondering, the last is really just the beginning...right after that, we'll have prizes galore for not only our favorite DDDD bloggers, but also our favorite guest commenters. And I'm giving you all 24 hours to think something up!...a funny observation, a favorite family food story, etc...
I'll even have a list of other blogs you might enjoy visiting for more delicious recipes.
Back in two shakes!...H2
Oh, and one more ridiculous thing...I don't want you to think that I don't enjoy your comments. But for over 3 weeks now, I have not been able to receive your comments, nor have I been able to reply to them, as I normally try to do. I have contacted typepad's tech support over 6 times, with no change. Have any other typepad bloggers had this problem? They just keep telling me "we're looking into it" "rest assured, we're looking into it" "hold your pants on, little lady"...blah, blah, blah...uh oh, I'm whining again.

Those cats sitting on the stairs- with little bibs - are the cutest things I've seen- I've shown everyone at work- probably not a good idea - since I should be working- anyway, realllly cute.

A polka dot pie by definition has to be amazing, but it pales in comparison to those cat pics! Is Megan gonna come out with a pattern for those bibs? I'll need a Kitty sized one for Presley and an extra small for the pigs, please...

Actually, it was my wacky idea and pattern...
we may just have to do a free downlaodble .pdf off of the website...there's an idea.
Megan's the one with the sewing machine and the patience...and the good sense to not let me "drive" her newly tuned Bernina...remember, I am the one who had her machine stolen out of the back of my car.
I'm still waiting for a sewing machine company to come to my rescue...not one sewing machine company has contacted me!
I want one that can sew through anything (I make my own slipcovers) and still has a blind hem and zig zag feature, is that so much for a girl to ask?
let's see if I can make this post!???

Ok, it posted...now If I could only get the comments to show up in my email like before, I would be so happy...
typepad...it's been three long weeks.
I need to "conversate" with my buds!

Genius, pure genius! I craked up when I saw those cat photos. And the bib is the cutest thing ever! What fun. Get yourself a flickr account and let's start a group thing with photos!

Wow!! At last a polka dot dessert. I can't wait to try it out. Maybe I'll need a new tablecloth to go with it. Hmmmm. How am I going to pick my favorite dots?
I have had so much fun going to the new blogs and getting the recipes Thank you for this event. I hate to see it go. Any chance we can see all the recipes in one place someday? Thank you!!
