My Favorite Things...185...Another Blog-A-Thon!

For those of you who haven't heard about the Dolly Dresses 2 (due out late March 2010) & Dolly Dresses 3 fabrics (due out in early May 2010), here's the front & back cover of the sales booklet:

Oh where to begin?  Most of you will remember last year's "A Dozen Designer Dolly Dresses" blog-a-thon.  If not, click on the icon on the left and you can see it from the very beginning.  This group quilt was made by twelve of my favorite designers with our Doll Dresses 1 fabrics.

After the Blog-A-Thon was over last year, it dawned on me that some of you might like a pre-made dolly dress panel (or two), so that you could focus on the embellishments and making lots of quick & fun projects for the "little dolls" in your life...

Of course this made me think of yet another blogging event...I was curious to see what other quilters would do with the panels...So I gave out the panel fabric to some fabulous women at Fall Quilt Market. 

I hope you'll join us for "DOLLY BLOG", starting this Friday December 4th so that we can all see these new projects together...I can't wait!

In the meantime, you can see these new engineered panels NOW on the LakeHouse website.  Hint: if you click on any of the images on the panel page, you'll go to the fabric swatch pages for a full view of the new DD 2 & 3 Collection.

Also, if you would like a DD 2 & 3 fabric swatch sheet set (so that you can run into your local quilt shop and make sure that they've ordered this new line!)...Just click on the Nine Patch Icon in the right side column, for a .pdf file.

I'll have more info about the Dolly Dresses 2 & 3 fabrics and quilts very soon, and then on Friday, "let the festivities begin."
