New Teatime Quilts...

Hello Quilting Friends...The following pictures are quilts made with the NEW Teatime Floral collection...you can download a pattern front for your personal use by clicking on the quilt icons on the sidebars to the <---left & right--->

First is Firecracker, I designed this quilt to show off how well all of the colors in the new Teatime palette looked together, it's soft and romantic, yet graphic...I especially loved using several different creamy mini prints in between the stars to add interest to the background.

Here is a close up shot of Cheryl Winslow's work.  Most of you know by now, that she is our "quilter extraordinaire"...She arc-quilted the star points to make them more "poufy".

Gonzo Gingham is one of my favorites...it's super simple to make, so the fabric does most of the work for you!  The different tones of mist blue and khaki create an optical plaid-like effect.

This close up shows another one of my favorite details, a "faux" piano key mini border and an ever-so-thin stripe as the binding...I just love them used together.

I also am smitten with the way the tiny bits of pearlescent ink catch the light on some of the Teatime Floral fabrics in these quilts.  It reminds me of fairy dust.

Welcome to the Teatime Floral Projects Page...

I hope that you will be inspired by this project page to look for our new Teatime Floral fabrics and our LakeHouse quilt patterns in your local quilt store, so that you can see them in person.

After years & years of coveting anything with a pretty flower on it, I decided to do a new collection of floral textiles that used our best selling Champagne colored Frosted Dots, aka "LH 03035" as a starting off point for a new color story.  I wanted to achieve the feeling of a traditional tea-stained look, but updated to a lighter, easier-to-live-with palette.

The colors in the Teatime Floral collection are rather low contrast. There are familiar, yet updated colors for you to work with.  Even the most inexperienced quilter will be able to work with this new collection with a greater confidence and most lovely end result.
